Limited Warranty Coverage
AutoBOSS USA's warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below: AutoBOSS USA warrants its hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase. Warranties hereunder extend only to Customers and are not transferable. If a defect exists, at its option AutoBOSS USA will (1) repair the product using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes AutoBOSS USA's property. A replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.
All AutoBOSS products purchased in the United States and Canada from AUTHORIZED DEALERS are fully supported by AutoBOSS USA’s ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY with regards to telephone-technical support, email support, warranty repair/replacement and software updates. All serial numbers are tracked to verify country of origin and if it was purchased from an AUTHORIZED DEALER. AutoBOSS products not purchased through an AUTHORIZED DEALER; this includes internet purchases, eBay purchases, foreign units, and all other sources not deemed to be authorized, are not supported by the AutoBOSS USA’s ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.
Software distributed by AutoBOSS USA under the AutoBOSS brand name (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered under this Limited Warranty. Since different vehicles and their systems may behave differently under different operating conditions and environment, AutoBOSS USA cannot guarantee its product will work correctly with every system in every vehicle. By using AUTOBOSS products, you are aware of the fact that its software and hardware may contain errors or bugs, and thus provided “AS IS”. We disclaim any liability for damage to your computer or to your vehicle, and we do not promise to have any particular improvements or software updates on any specific date. Customer understands AUTOBOSS and its affiliated companies do not warrant, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the use, or the results of the use, of the software or written materials in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, correctness, or in terms of your requirements. Also, there is no warranty of title or non-infringement in the software. No oral or written information or advice given by AutoBOSS USA or its affiliated companies, or their respective agents, distributors, dealers and employees, shall create a warranty or in any way increase the scope of this warranty, and you may not rely on any such information or advice. AutoBOSS USA does not warrant the operation of the software to be uninterrupted or error-free, nor does AutoBOSS USA make any warranty or representation regarding the use or output of the software in terms of correctness, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, sequence, reliability or otherwise or that the software will meet your requirements.
In no event shall AutoBOSS USA be held liable for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the usage of our products. No AutoBOSS reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoBOSS (including its owners, affiliates and subsidiaries), its officers, directors, agents, shareholders, independent contractors, distributors, employees, and others involved in AutoBOSS or the delivery of product, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, actions, causes of action, complaints, laws, reasonable attorney’s fees, expenses and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, including without limitation those for bodily injury, personal injury, negligence, sickness, death or property damage, alleged out of or arising from any violation by you of this Agreement or your use of the AutoBOSS product. This includes other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, or damages caused by any delay in remedying a defect.
Warranty Service
Your product is covered for one year by AutoBOSS USA’s Limited Warranty. Purchaser will agree to pay for the return shipment fee regardless of the underlying reason. AutoBOSS USA will repair your tool to Manufacture Specifications and return your tool to you via the most economical method chosen by AutBOSS USA unless specified by the customer prior to the date of shipment. Purchaser is advised to insure the returned goods for their full value for the protection of the purchaser; otherwise, neither AutoBOSS USA nor the shipping company will be responsible for any damage or loss in shipment.
AutoBOSS USA’s Limited Warranty does NOT provide coverage for products subjected to “abnormal use”. "Abnormal use" includes misuse, accident, modification, unreasonable use, abuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized service. In such event, AutoBOSS USA will return your original product to you without providing service, and may hold you responsible for diagnostic fees.
On-site Service
Your warranty purchase requires that you allow our help desk to perform a minimum amount of troubleshooting/ diagnostics to provide indicators of the appropriate actions required to resolve the failure. On-site service includes a “troubleshooting/diagnostic” visit and is not covered by the 1 Year Limited Manufacturers Warranty. On-site service cost and availability is subject to the discretion of each individual AUTHORIZED DEALER.
Return and Exchange Policy
1. For a refund or exchange, product(s) can be returned within 7 days of the received date. Items returned within 7 days are subjected to 15% restocking fee, less applicable shipping costs and cleaning charges. No refunds thereafter.
2. Original receipt must accompany any product to be returned/ exchanged.
3. Product(s) returned must be in original box with original accessories and packaging in undamaged, clean and brand-new condition. $40 will be charged if not in clean conditions.
4. Product that is returned incomplete, damaged, or has been used is not returnable, exchangeable or refundable. Damaged parts due to missued by the owner will be charged according to the original price of the part. Refer to your distributor for a detailed price list of each part.
5. All returned check(s) are subjected to $25 fee.
Entire Agreement
This is the entire agreement. The parties are not bound by any oral expression or representation by any agent purporting to act for or on their behalf or by any commitment or arrangement not set forth herein. The agreement binds jointly and severally all signing as Customer, their heirs, representatives, successors and assigns.
