Fault description:
Fault phenomenon: The left headlight cannot change to high beam
Fault code: 8059A9 LHM2 L External fan is damaged
Fault description: The fan facing the vehicle's outward direction fails. The fan runs and reports a fault.
Fault identification conditions: The supply voltage is between 9 and 16 volts. Bus terminal K1.30 is connected
Fault code storage recording conditions: Fault recording is performed after 100 seconds
Maintenance instructions:
1. Repair the plug connection.
2. Replace the fan.
3. Replace the LHML and recode.
4. If the fault is transferred, update the LHML.
5. Otherwise: update the headlights.
At the same time, the consequences of the fault are: high beam failure, low beam power reduction and fan noise increase. But the vehicle can continue to drive
Driver information:
Check control information (128): Left high beam failure!
Service reminder: 100% control of both fans, low beam power reduced to level 2
Fault summary and analysis:
When inspecting the vehicle, we disassembled the headlight and found that a wire of the cooling fan was broken. This discovery led us to the key to the problem. We quickly connected the broken wire and then tested it. We found that the high beam function of the left headlight returned to normal and the fan was running normally. The fault was solved.
