Get Past the FCA Secure Gateway for Keys, Cluster and Service Work
On 2018-and-later FCA vehicles the SGW module blocks non-original tools at the OBD II port. This 12+8 cable connects directly to the 12-pin and 8-pin gateway connectors so an OBDSTAR host can communicate normally with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Maserati and Fiat models.

How to Use
- Locate the SGW moduleFind the security gateway module on the vehicle.
- Unplug its connectorsDisconnect the 12-pin and 8-pin connectors from the SGW module.
- Connect the cablePlug the FCA 12+8 cable into the two vehicle-side connectors; normal communication with the car is then available.

- This is a cable only. Key programming, cluster calibration and service reset require a compatible OBDSTAR host (X300 DP, X300 DP Plus, X300 PRO4, Odo Master or X200 PRO2), sold separately.
