Quick Checks of Remote Signal, IR Output and Coin-Cell Voltage
The RE110 shows whether a remote key or transmitter is emitting on 315, 433, 868 or 902 MHz, confirms infrared output, and reads CR2025/CR2032 terminal voltage. It is a receive-only screening tool; it does not program, copy or pair keys.
- 4 RF Bands
- IR Presence Check
- CR2025 / CR2032 0โ6 V
- Type-C or 4 ร AAA
Key Features
-
RF Band Detection
Hold the transmitter near the RF area and press its button; the screen shows the detected band.
-
Infrared Presence Check
Point an IR remote at the receiver; OK confirms infrared emission without decoding the command.
-
Coin-Cell Voltage
Place a CR2025 or CR2032 cell in the BAT area to read its terminal voltage as a quick screening value.
-
Separate Test Areas
Labeled RF, IR and BAT zones keep each test object at its own receiver or contacts and reduce mode confusion.
-
Bench or Mobile Power
Run from a 5 V / 1 A Type-C input on the bench, or from four AAA cells for cable-free use.
-
Folding Stand
Stands upright for repeated key-counter checks and folds away for storage.

How to Use
- Pick the checkDecide whether you need the RF band, IR output or coin-cell voltage, and have a known working reference ready where practical.
- Set up the test areaPower the tester, move away from strong RF interference and use the matching RF, IR or BAT area.
- Validate with a referenceTrigger a known compatible transmitter to confirm the mode and setup respond.
- Test the suspect itemHold the transmitter close, press the button and note the result; for a coin cell, observe polarity and keep contact stable.
- Choose the next stepIf emission is detected but the vehicle does not respond, check pairing, transponder, receiver, power/ground, antenna or programming with the appropriate equipment.

Good to Know
Caution
- The package shown includes only the tester and manual; supply a Type-C lead or AAA batteries separately unless your order states otherwise.
- Signals outside the four listed bands may not display.
Care
- Avoid strong interference sources such as signal towers, base stations, utility poles and active phone calls or messages during tests.
- The voltage reading is not a load test; load-test or replace a cell whose in-use performance is in question.
- Store dry and ventilated; do not disassemble or modify the unit.
FAQ
Why does no frequency appear?
The key may be too far from the RF area or outside the supported bands. Move it closer, change its orientation and retest away from interference; then check the coin cell and transmitter output.
Does a frequency reading prove the key is good?
No. It confirms emission in a supported band. Signal quality, pairing, rolling-code validity, transponder operation and vehicle reception need their own tests.
Can the RE110 program, copy or pair a key?
No. It does not decode rolling codes, read transponders or perform immobilizer authorization; use the applicable key or vehicle tool.
