How to Use

Update method
Connect to a computer by USB, replace the DIAGNOSE folder on the new drive with the downloaded one, then power on again

Unzip update files into the drive's root directory without renaming them. If the tool is in black-screen upgrade mode, do not press OK; stay with the USB method.

Good to Know

Caution
  • Service light reset and ECU reset are subject to model compatibility.
  • The USB port runs on 5V and is meant only for updating from a computer; a fast charger above 5V can damage the tool.
Care
  • If your motorcycle is not recognized, check for a newer software version before reconnecting.

The M4-ASIA diagnostic tool works great — very stable, accurate, and easy to operate. It covers most Asian motorcycle brands we deal with, and the software functions are really helpful. However, the diagnostic cables included in the standard package are not complete for all models. I had to purchase a few extra connectors separately to fully support the bikes in our shop. I would recommend new buyers to get the full cable set. Also, it would be even better if the supplier included a complete set of cables by default in future packages. Overall, still a very solid tool for any motorcycle workshop.
