Some special diagnostic sockets do not supply power; in that case the M7 manual calls for power from the battery clamp, which the DC socket is typically used for.

- Add power if neededIf the socket does not power the M7, supply power through the battery clamp as described in the M7 manual.

- Use the strap to coil the cable for storage.
