Match More Vehicle Terminals Without Cutting Wires
The AUTOOL 68-piece kit combines back probes, color-coded jumper leads, clips, banana adapters and long extension leads in one EVA case, so a multimeter, current meter or oscilloscope can reach fitted connectors on 12 V and 24 V vehicles. A meter is not included, and the kit adds no voltage or CAT rating of its own.
- 68 Pieces
- 12.5 + 23 cm Probe Options
- 105 cm Extension Leads
- LED + Potentiometer Leads
- EVA Case
Key Features
-
Back-Probe Access
Connect to the back of a terminal without damaging the circuit, helping reduce corrosion and avoid added impedance.
-
No-Cut Current Testing
Route the circuit through a test lead to check current instead of cutting the original wire.
-
Multiple Terminal Sizes
Blue, yellow, red and black jumper groups cover different connector and terminal sizes.
-
Signal-Check Leads
A bi-color LED lead and a potentiometer lead help with sensor, actuator and circuit signal checks.
-
Meter and Scope Ready
Banana plug adapters connect the set to compatible multimeters, current meters and oscilloscope probes for work on cars, RVs, trucks and boats.
-
Organized and Portable
The EVA case keeps probes, clips, adapters and jumpers together for workshop and mobile diagnosis.

How to Use
- Choose the adapterMatch the connector, terminal size and probe style to the test point without forcing or spreading the vehicle terminal.
- Check the ratingsUse the lowest input and CAT limit in the meter-lead-probe path and confirm the circuit is within it.
- Inspect the leadDo not use a lead with damaged insulation, loose metal, contamination or a bent connector.
- Connect in a safe stateDe-energize the circuit or set it as the vehicle procedure requires before changing adapters; keep fingers behind the guards.
- Measure and restoreTake the reading, remove the adapters and check that the terminal and seal are undamaged.
Good to Know
Caution
- The measurement path is limited by the lowest rating of the meter, input terminal, fuse, lead, probe and adapter.
- Never force a probe into a connector; a spread or scratched terminal can create a new intermittent fault.
Care
- Check insulation and metalwork for heat damage or contamination before each use.
