Soldered Chip Connection for the OBDSTAR P001 Programmer
The W001 data cable links the P001 programmer to a chip through a bonding wire so the chip’s data can be read or written. It is the same W001 cable supplied in the standard P001 configuration.

Wires are soldered from the cable to the chip, giving the P001 a direct connection for reading or writing its data.

During a job, the OBDSTAR tablet displays the wiring diagram for the connection.

The P001 set also uses W002, which clamps SOP 8-pin chips without soldering, and W003, which connects with clips and probes. W001 is the soldered option.
