Longer Dry Ice Cleaning Runs Between Refills
The HTS708 cleans suitable automotive and industrial surfaces without water or chemical solvent, using a 7.5 kg hopper, adjustable ice delivery and a 3 m hose. It needs an external compressed-air supply and locally sourced dry ice, neither of which is included.
- 7.5 kg Hopper
- 0–3.2 kg/min Ice Feed
- 3 m Blast Hose
- Single Pressure Gauge
Key Features
-
Fewer Refills
The 7.5 kg tank extends cleaning time between refills during repeated workshop use.
-
Adjustable Ice Delivery
Set the ice amount on the control panel to match a tested setting for each task rather than one intensity for every surface.
-
Air Treatment for Stable Feed
A built-in filter helps reduce moisture-related clumping and feed interruption.
-
Dry Physical Cleaning
Pellets at about -78.5 °C embrittle deposits, then sublimate and expand on impact to lift them; no blast media or chemical residue remains.
-
Mobile Workshop Body
Pull handle, 360° casters, ice output knob and dedicated air-source and gun connections for setup and movement around the bay.

How to Use
- Prepare the systemConfirm compressor, dry air, grounded power, fresh pellets, ventilation, nozzle and PPE.
- Inspect connectionsCheck hoses, gun, ground and machine before loading dry ice.
- Purge condensateSet ice feed to zero and check whether moisture exits the nozzle.
- Load and set outputUse 3 mm pellets, start conservatively and test a small approved area.
- Clean and monitorWatch delivery and pressure, adjust gradually and collect removed contamination.
- Clear remaining iceSet output to zero and run the gun for about 30 seconds to clear the tray and tube.
- Shut down and inspectDisconnect air and power, then inspect the hose, nozzle and separator.

Good to Know
Caution
- Compressor and dry ice are not included. Confirm at least 90 psi with adequate dynamic flow and dry air, and confirm a local dry ice supply before ordering.
- Dry ice is solid CO₂: ventilate the area, avoid skin contact and wear goggles, hearing protection, gloves, work clothes and closed-toe shoes.
- Test a small area first on paint, rubber, plastics, labels and aged coatings.
- Confirm voltage, plug and protective earth match your supply before use.
Care
- Keep the hopper clean and free of foreign objects when adding ice.
- Loosened dirt and carbon still need to be collected after cleaning.
FAQ
What pellet size should I use?
3 mm pellets are preferred. Pellets up to 8 mm may be used when suitable for the nozzle, air supply and setup.
Can it remove paint or rust?
It can remove loose or weakly bonded paint, surface rust, oxidation and salt. It will not remove well-adhered paint, deep rust or pitting, and it does not produce a white-metal finish.
How does it compare with the HTS705?
The HTS705 has a 5 kg tank; the HTS708’s 7.5 kg tank means fewer refills.
Is a longer hose available?
The standard hose is 3 m; a hose up to 5 m can be made to order at extra cost.
