A+ tool. Fast shipping!

Arrived in 3 days. Box was slightly dented but the tester inside was perfectly fine. Hooked it up immediately to test some fouled plugs from my old Chevy. You can clearly see the spark jumping sideways to the ceramic on the bad ones. Good seller, solid tool. 5 stars.

Compare Up to Five Spark Plugs Side by Side on the Bench

The SPT360 fires one known-good reference plug and up to four removed test plugs at the same simulated speed, so differences in spark continuity are easy to see through the transparent cover. It compares spark behavior in air, not under cylinder pressure or load.

How to Use

  1. Insert the plugsPut the standard plug in the reference hole and the plugs to be tested in the remaining holes.
  2. Connect powerPlug the power adapter into the side port and confirm the indicator light turns on.
  3. Close the coverClose the transparent protective cover before testing.
  4. Start and adjustTurn on the power switch and set the working frequency with the RPM + and − buttons.
  5. CompareCompare firing continuity and consistency at the same setting; higher settings raise the firing rate.

Caution
  • Plug voltage can reach tens of thousands of volts during operation. Never run the tester with the cover open and do not touch the plugs.
  • Turn the power off before inserting or removing spark plugs.
  • Results show spark behavior in air; confirm any suspected fault with the applicable vehicle procedure.

  • Use and store the tester in a dry, ventilated place.

For over 20 years, I’ve maintained my own cars. During tune – ups, I’d often replace spark plugs without checking if they were still good. I’m looking forward to this tester helping me cut down on plug costs. The tester is simple to operate. You just insert the plugs, close the cover, connect the power, and switch it on. The engine speed simulation feature is great for finding low – RPM misfires. Plus, I can tell if a used plug is still okay by comparing its spark to a new one’s. All in all, it’s a handy addition to my workshop. The only downside is it can’t test the small spark plugs in 2 – cycle lawn equipment engines.
