Four-Wheel Brake Fluid Exchange by One Technician
The AST618 connects to all four brake calipers at once, feeds fresh fluid from a stainless-steel pot under pulsed pressure and collects used fluid in four bottles. It runs on a 12 V vehicle battery and handles brake and clutch fluid exchange.
- 4 Calipers at Once
- 0.6โ3.0 bar Adjustable
- Pulse and Time Settings
- 17 Reservoir Adapters
- 12 V DC Powered
Key Features
-
Four-Wheel, One-Person Service
Connect all four calipers and the reservoir adapter, then a single technician starts and monitors the exchange.
-
Pulse Pressure Exchange
Fresh fluid enters the reservoir at the selected pressure while used fluid drains from each caliper until clean fluid flows, helping reduce air bubbles compared with basic pressurized filling.
-
Digital Settings With Auto Stop
Set pressure, pulse and working time on the panel, with pause/start and relief/stop controls. The machine stops if the fresh-fluid supply is abnormal, pressure cannot build or the pump draws air.
-
Stainless-Steel Fresh-Fluid Pot
The 3 L pot is corrosion- and collision-resistant for daily workshop use.
-
17-Piece Reservoir Adapter Set
Matches varied reservoir designs on European, American and Asian vehicles.
-
Mobile Trolley
Four rollers, a three-section telescoping handle, hanging hooks and hose storage keep the unit organized around the bay.

How to Use
- Prepare the vehicleRaise it so the wheels are off the ground; the engine stays off.
- Connect four outlet hosesAttach the four oil ports to the brake cylinders and loosen the bleeder screws as required.
- Add fresh brake fluidFill the pot with the fluid the vehicle specifies, without overfilling.
- Connect the reservoir adapterChoose the matching adapter and connect the filling hose to the master cylinder reservoir.
- Connect 12 V powerClamp to the vehicle battery and turn on the power switch.
- Start the exchangePress the Vacuum switch, then the Fuel switch.
- Adjust refilling speedWatch the reservoir mouth and use the acceleration or deceleration switch as needed.
- Drain used fluidEmpty the machine’s used-fluid tank completely after each service.

Good to Know
Caution
- Excessive pressure can damage the brake master cylinder or related components. The regulator ships set around 1โ1.5 bar; raise it only when appropriate.
- Used fluid left in the machine tank can damage the vacuum pump and stop future exchanges.
- Prime the delivery line with the specified fluid and remove air before connecting to the vehicle, and again whenever the path is opened or the fluid type changes.
Care
- Check every connection for leaks and inspect the hoses for damage before each exchange.
- Keep the fresh-fluid filler port clean and the reservoir connection sealed during service.
FAQ
Does the engine need to run during the exchange?
No. The vehicle does not need to be started.
What working pressure should I use?
Start at the lowest suitable pressure and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s procedure.
Which brake fluid should I fill?
The type the vehicle manufacturer specifies, kept free of air, water and debris during service.
