Beware of Fraudulent Websites

Some websites, ads and social media accounts copy brand names, product photos and prices to deceive shoppers. Here is how to recognize the official AUTOBOSS store and what to do if you think you have been scammed.

Our only official store

autoboss.com is the only online store operated by AUTOBOSS.

Member prices, the AUTOBOSS Store Warranty and our after-sales support apply only to orders placed and paid on autoboss.com. Orders placed on any other site cannot be traced, serviced or refunded by us.

How to Recognize Us

Website address
Always check the address bar shows autoboss.com before you sign in or pay. Look-alike addresses often add words, change one letter or use a different ending.
E-mail
Order, shipping and support messages come only from our own domain, such as support@autoboss.com. We do not send order updates from free webmail addresses.
Payment
We take payment only through checkout on autoboss.com (PayPal, major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay). We never ask you to pay by bank transfer to a personal account, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or a payment link sent through chat or social media.
Prices
Professional diagnostic and workshop tools are rarely sold far below their usual market price. An offer that looks too good to be true is a common warning sign.

Report a Suspicious Site or Message

If you find a website, ad, marketplace listing or message that uses the AUTOBOSS name, or you are unsure whether a message is really from us, send the link or a screenshot to support@autoboss.com. We will tell you whether it is genuine. Please do not enter payment or account details until we confirm.

Think You Have Been Scammed?

  1. Contact your bank or card issuer straight away and tell them the charge is fraudulent.
  2. Dispute the charge by asking for a chargeback, or open a dispute with your payment provider.
  3. Keep the evidence: confirmation e-mails, screenshots of the website and the transaction details.
  4. Change your passwords if you used the same password on the suspicious site.

Acting quickly gives you the best chance of recovering your money. You can also report the site to your local consumer protection or cybercrime authority.
