Refill the Cooling System Without Air Pockets
Uses shop air to pull a vacuum on the cooling system, then draws fresh coolant in, so the system fills completely without manual bleeding. A compressed air supply is required.
- -1 to 0 bar Gauge
- 5 Radiator Adapters
- Brass Valve & Coupler
- Carrying Case
Key Features
-
Air-Free Refill
Removing trapped air before filling means no air pockets are left behind and no time is spent bleeding the system.
-
Leak Check Under Vacuum
Watching the gauge while the system is under vacuum helps reveal leaks before coolant goes in.
-
Adapters for Many Radiators
One universal conical adapter and four round adapters cover Volkswagen, Ford, Audi, Honda and other vehicles, including SUVs, vans and light trucks.
-
See the Coolant Flow
The thick transparent fill hose shows coolant moving, and a filter on the intake end keeps debris out.
-
Durable Fittings
Aluminum connecting parts with a brass control valve and quick-release coupler resist corrosion.

How to Use
- Drain the radiatorOpen the hood and drain the old coolant from the radiator.
- Fit an adapterSeal the radiator neck with the universal conical adapter or a round adapter that fits.
- Connect the toolWith all valves closed, attach the tool to the adapter.
- Pull a vacuumConnect the air supply, open the air valve and run until the gauge reads -20 to -25 inHg (-50 to -60 cmHg), then close the valve.
- Remove the air supplyDisconnect the air hose and compressor.
- Prepare the coolantConnect the fill hose to the quick coupler and place the filter end in a container with enough pre-mixed coolant.
- RefillOpen the valve; coolant flows into the radiator, and filling is complete when the gauge reads zero.
- Disconnect and cleanRemove the hoses and clean off any coolant residue.
Good to Know
Caution
- A compressed air supply is required for vacuuming and is not included.
- Keep the intake end of the fill hose fully submerged in coolant, or air will be drawn back into the system.
