Stable Battery Support for ECU Programming, Plus Charging and Start Assist
The EM365 holds vehicle voltage steady while a separate programming tool does the ECU work, and adds lead-acid charging, battery restoration, vehicle display power and 400 A momentary start support. It is for 12 V lead-acid type batteries only.
- Up to 150 A Programming
- Fixed 14 V or Adjustable
- 20 A Charging
- 400 A Start Assist
- 5 Work Modes
Key Features
-
Programming Power Supply
Set the voltage the vehicle procedure calls for, or choose fixed 14 V, and watch output voltage and current on the color screen.
-
Intelligent Charging
Adjusts voltage and current as charging progresses, with progress and completion shown on screen.
-
Battery-Type Settings
Standard lead-acid, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral and GEL; EFB through External Charging with the battery removed.
-
Vehicle Display Mode
Holds a float charge and raises output when loads discharge the battery, for showroom and display work.
-
Battery Restoration
A treatment mode for discharged or long-idle lead-acid batteries; results depend on condition and sulfation.
-
Forced Start
400 A / 12 V momentary starting support, guided by an on-screen prompt.

Good to Know
Caution
- Lithium batteries are not supported. EFB charging and Battery Restoration require the battery to be removed from the vehicle.
- Peak output lasts about 3 minutes before thermal limiting; confirm the mode, voltage and available current cover the full programming event.
- Connect clamps with correct polarity on clean, secure terminals before enabling output.
Care
- Use in a dry, ventilated location with the vents clear.
- When charging ends, stop charging before removing the clamps.
FAQ
Does the EM365 program the ECU itself?
No. It supplies power during programming; use separate programming or diagnostic equipment for the ECU work.
Why use programming mode instead of charging?
Programming mode holds the support voltage you choose; charging mode changes output as the battery charges.
Which programming voltage should I select?
The voltage given in the vehicle procedure. Fixed Mode suits jobs that call for 14 V.
