Probe Vehicle Circuits From Front to Rear Without Re-Clipping
The B530 connects to the vehicle battery once, then checks circuit polarity, voltage, resistance and diodes on 9–30 V systems, with a 10 m lead long enough to reach the rear of the vehicle.
- 9–30 V Circuits
- 4 Test Modes
- 10 m Extension Lead
- Overload Cut-Off
- 7 Languages
Key Features
-
AC and DC Voltage
DC mode reads the voltage of the circuit under test; AC mode shows the maximum and minimum voltage of the signal.
-
Resistance and Diode Tests
Measures resistance between the probe and the auxiliary ground, and quickly checks whether a diode is conducting.
-
Polarity and Continuity in One Hookup
After a single connection to the battery, check polarity and continuity without moving the clips again.
-
Component Activation
Activate components directly from the probe to check their operation.
-
Overload and Short-Circuit Protection
On current overload the tester automatically disconnects its protection circuit.
-
Built-In Flashlight
A light at the probe tip helps you test in dark areas.
Highlights

Reach the Whole Vehicle
The extension lead covers the vehicle from front to rear, so you can work through the entire circuit system.

Two Power Options
Power the tester from the car battery with clips or from the cigarette lighter socket.

Light at the Tip
Illuminates connectors and pins while you probe in dark spaces.

Good to Know
Caution
- Do not connect or disconnect test equipment while the ignition is on or the engine is running.
- The ignition coil, distributor cap, ignition wires and spark plugs carry dangerously high voltage with the engine running.
- Before testing, put an automatic transmission in Park or a manual in Neutral and apply the handbrake.
Care
- Keep clothing, hair, hands and test equipment away from moving or hot parts.
- Keep a fire extinguisher at hand when working around gasoline, chemicals or electrical equipment.
