Stable Programming Power, Battery Charging and Adjustable DC Output in One Unit

The AUTOOL EM385 supports 12 V vehicle ECU programming with a set support voltage, charges lead-acid and lithium batteries, restores long-idle lead-acid batteries and powers showroom vehicles, all selected from a 4.3-inch touchscreen. It supplies power only; the ECU work itself needs separate programming equipment.

  • 9–16 V or Fixed 14 V
  • Up to 150 A for ~3 Min
  • LFP / NCM Charging
  • 400 A Momentary Start
  • 4.3-Inch Touchscreen

Key Features

  1. Programming Power With Live Readings

Choose Adjustable Mode for 9–16 V or Fixed Mode for 14 V and follow output voltage and current on screen throughout the procedure.

  2. Lead-Acid Charging by Battery Type

Select in-car or external charging and the battery type: standard lead-acid, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral or GEL; EFB uses external charging. The display shows voltage, current, progress and completion.

  3. Lithium Charging

A dedicated option for LFP (LiFePO4) and NCM batteries, with the battery removed from the vehicle.

  4. Separate Adjustable Power Supply

Set both voltage and current for compatible electrical equipment, independent of programming mode.

  5. Vehicle Display Mode

Maintains a float charge and raises output when battery discharge is detected, for showroom and display work.

  6. Forced Start and Battery Restoration

Momentary starting support with on-screen prompts, plus a restoration treatment for discharged or long-idle lead-acid batteries; results depend on battery condition and sulfation.

  7. Touch or Button Control

Use the touchscreen or the physical arrow and OK keys; brightness and interface language are adjustable.

Good to Know

Caution
  • EFB charging, lithium charging and Battery Restoration all require the battery to be removed from the vehicle.
  • Order the 110 V or 220 V version that matches your local power.
  • Confirm that the selected mode, voltage and available output cover the full programming event before starting.
Care
  • Use the unit in a dry, ventilated location with the vents clear.
  • Connect clamps on clean, secure terminals with correct polarity; stop output or charging before removing them.

FAQ

Does EM385 program the ECU itself?

No. It supplies battery power support during programming; the ECU work is done with separate programming or diagnostic equipment.

How long is the maximum 150 A output available?

About 3 minutes in programming mode. At an internal temperature of 70 °C the maximum current drops to 50 A and returns once the unit cools to 50 °C.

Is the Adjustable Power Supply the same as programming mode?

No. It is a separate option under Fast Charging. Output above 1200 W for 3 minutes, or an internal temperature of 70 °C, limits current to 50 A until the unit cools below 50 °C.
