How to Use
- Pre-cleanClean the outside of the injectors, then place them in the ultrasonic bath without letting the fluid rise above the pulse line connection port.
- Ultrasonic cleanRun the ultrasonic system to dislodge buildup inside the injectors, then recover the remaining cleaning fluid.
- Mount and checkFix the injectors on the machine, test them for resistance, shorts and current draw, and fill the glass tubes halfway with test liquid.
- Run the testsPerform leak, spray pattern and flow rate tests on the flow bench.
Good to Know
Caution
- Use medical alcohol or paraffin as test fluid; do not use corrosive cleaning fluid for testing.
- Do not start the ultrasonic cleaner before adding cleaning fluid; this can cause damage.
- Never put the pulse signal cable or its connector into the cleaning fluid.
- Do not run the ultrasonic cleaner continuously for more than 30 minutes, or its life will be shortened.
Care
- Add only enough cleaning fluid to soak the injector needles.
- If the machine will not be used for a long time, recover the test fluid after testing.
- Unplug the power when not in use.
