- Seat the socketFit it fully and squarely onto the lock nut.
- Loosen with steady forceTurn the wrench with even pressure rather than impacts.
- Remove the nutOnce it breaks free, unscrew the lock nut completely.
- RefitInstall a new lock nut or refit the wheel as needed.
