Front and Side Views from One Steerable Probe
The SVB403 pairs a front lens and a side lens on a 6.5 mm two-way articulating probe, so you can inspect hidden engine and pipe surfaces from both angles without repositioning. Photos and video save to the included card on a standalone 4.3-inch screen. Inspect only cooled components.

How to Use
- Define the targetIdentify the entry point and surface to inspect, and confirm the probe and viewing range suit that path.
- Check the equipmentInspect the tip and cable, charge the unit, and test steering, lighting and saving.
- Prepare the vehicleIsolate moving and live parts, let the area cool and prepare a clean access point.
- Guide and illuminateInsert gently while watching the image, and steer and light the target into view; never force a bend.
- Record findingsCapture useful angles and note the component, entry point and viewing direction.
- Withdraw and storeStraighten the tip, withdraw gently, then clean, dry and store the probe.

Good to Know
Caution
- The lens is not heat resistant: inspect below 75 °C where possible and never place the probe above 85 °C.
- A just-stopped engine can reach 80–100 °C or more; let it cool for 1–2 hours first.
- IP67 covers the probe only. Do not immerse the main unit, and do not assume fuel, coolant or solvent compatibility from the rating.
- If you feel resistance when withdrawing, stop and straighten the tip instead of pulling harder.
Care
- If the image is unclear, adjust distance and brightness, clean the lens and try another angle; reflections can look like defects.
- Use saved images with the vehicle diagnostic procedure before deciding on a repair.
