Good to Know
Caution
- This connector is for the standard 892BT. Fitting it does not add the topology mapping or J2534 pass-thru capability of the 892BT PRO; MUCAR states a standard unit cannot be converted to the PRO by replacing the VCI.
Care
- Switch the ignition on before testing; the engine does not need to run.
- If the VCI shows no power, check that it is fully seated in the port and the ignition is on.
