BMW CAS4 and FEM
Works with CAS4 Fxx chassis such as the 5 Series F10 and 7 Series F01/02 (9S12 XEP 5M48H/1N35H), and FEM models such as the 1 Series F2x, 3 Series F3x and X5.

FEM Without Removal
On FEM models the filter connects directly at the instrument panel, so the FEM does not need to be removed.

Clear Wire Coding
Black GND, red +12 V, white +5 V, purple/green CAN1 and yellow/blue CAN2.

Good to Know
Caution
- On most Mercedes-Benz chassis, install the filter after odometer adjustment; on W222, W205 and W447, install it before.
- Confirm whether the Mercedes-Benz chassis is the new style (222/205/217) or old style (166/212/463) before starting.
- For BMW, short the two BMW points on the filter together before connecting it to the car.
- On the Mercedes-Benz harness, the black wire is pin 1.
