Multimeter Readings and Signal Waveforms From One Handheld
The DM301 combines a True RMS automotive multimeter with a single-channel oscilloscope for checking ignition, camshaft, crankshaft, wheel-speed and oxygen-sensor signals on low-voltage vehicle circuits. Batteries are not included.
- 500 kHz Single-Channel Scope
- DC 1000 V / AC 700 V
- 20 A Max / 10 A Continuous
- 2.8-Inch Color Display
Hauptmerkmale
-
Single-Channel Oscilloscope
The 500 kHz figure is analog bandwidth, not sampling rate; the display updates every 1 ms, and one button brings up the waveform automatically.
-
Core Electrical Measurements
Voltage, current, resistance, frequency and diode tests, with an audible alert when detected resistance is too low.
-
Auto Range and True RMS
Select the mode and connect the test leads; the meter chooses a suitable range.
-
Ignition Pulse and Engine Speed
Select the engine cylinder type and ignition mode to help calculate engine speed while observing ignition signals.
-
Adjustable Display, 13 Languages
Set screen brightness for the workshop or roadside; the interface includes English, French, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Italian, German, Dutch, Korean, Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Good to Know
Caution
- Batteries are not included. Use 4 × 1.5 V dry batteries or a compatible lithium battery, purchased separately.
- Do not charge dry batteries through the device; only a compatible rechargeable lithium battery can be charged.
- Do not probe an EV traction circuit or motor power bus without separately rated high-voltage procedures and equipment.
Care
- Use the input limit, terminal, fuse, lead and probe specified for the selected mode.
