Precise Dynamic, Static and ALU Balancing for Car, Off-Road and Motorcycle Wheels
The B-082 measures wheel distance and rim diameter with an automatic gauge, spins the wheel at 200 rpm and shows where to place weights at the 12 o’clock position, with imbalance read down to 1g. Lowering the hood starts the spin, and an electromagnetic brake stops it.

Key Features
-
Fine Imbalance Detection
A 250W drive motor and microcomputer data processing detect imbalance to help eliminate wheel vibration at high speed.
-
Balancing Modes
Standard dynamic balancing, static mode for motorcycle wheels and single-plane weights, and ALU1/ALU2 modes for concealed adhesive weights on alloy rims.
-
Automatic Measuring Arm
Pull the arm out against the rim and it reads and enters wheel distance and rim diameter, with no manual measuring.
-
12 O’Clock Position Guide
A two-direction LED strip on the panel lights up when the wheel reaches the weight placement position.
-
OPT Optimization
When static imbalance exceeds 30g (1.1oz), the machine prompts for OPT and calculates the tire-to-rim position that reduces the counterweight needed.
-
FINE Reading
The FINE button switches the weight display from 5g to 1g steps, making residual imbalance easier to see.
-
Auto Start and Braking
Lowering the safety guard starts the self-check and spin; braking is applied automatically when the test ends.
-
Self-Calibration and Self-Diagnosis
One-touch self-calibration and sensor self-diagnosis keep baseline accuracy during long, high-frequency use.
How to Use
- Mount the wheelFit the wheel on the shaft with the right cone adapter, centered and locked with the quick-release nut.
- MeasureHold the automatic gauge against the inner rim edge for about 2 seconds until the values are stored, then return it to position 0.
- Set width and modePreset rim width with the caliper and choose dynamic, static, ALU1 or ALU2 to suit the rim.
- SpinLower the hood (or press START) and wait for the machine to brake after calculating the imbalance.
- Find the positionTurn the wheel slowly by hand until the position LEDs fully light at 12 o’clock.
- Fit and verifyAttach the indicated weight at 12 o’clock on the inner or outer rim, then lower the hood for a check spin.

Good to Know
Caution
- Do not wear loose clothing, baggy sleeves or ties while operating, and keep body parts away from the spindle and moving parts.
- Never balance wheel assemblies above the rated maximum; this can burn out the motor, deform the spindle or damage internal sensors.
- Always lower the protective hood fully before a spin; starting with the guard open triggers an Error 5 lock.
- If mounting with bolts, tighten them crosswise one by one to avoid off-center mounting and inconsistent readings.
- Disconnect mains power before belt tensioning or servicing.
Care
- Do not blow the machine clean with high-pressure compressed air.
- Clean plastic panels with alcohol, keeping it away from the internal boards.
