Find Intake, EVAP and Exhaust Leaks with Adjustable Smoke
The T105 heats baby oil or liquid paraffin to produce smoke and pushes it with a built-in air pump, so it runs from a 12 V vehicle battery without a separate air supply. Thick smoke output helps reveal even small leaks.
- Built-In Air Pump
- Smoke in 10 Seconds
- Gauge + Flow Meter
- Overheat Shutoff
- 12 V Battery Powered
Key Features
-
Air Mode and Smoke Mode
The built-in air pump and smoke generator mean no extra air machine is needed, which suits mobile repair work.
-
Fast Smoke Output
Smoke starts within 10 seconds of switch-on, with a stable, large output that shortens diagnostic time.
-
Many Test Types
Tightness, intake, exhaust, cooling system and EVAP tests, with an assortment of adapters for different pipe systems.
-
Overheat and Anti-Frost Protection
A smart protector cuts the power automatically if the unit goes beyond its working limit, such as over 75°C.
-
Oil Drain Outlet
Recover leftover baby oil after use or if the unit was overfilled.
-
Hook and Anti-Scald Knob
Hang the unit from the hook during testing; the oil filler knob has an anti-scald design.
Highlights

Quick Smoke Output
Smoke fills the system quickly after the switch is pressed, so leaks show sooner.

Temperature Protection
Power shuts off automatically when the unit exceeds 75°C.

How to Use
- Fill and hangFor the first use, fill the detector with baby oil, open the hood and hang the detector from it.
- Open the systemDisconnect the pipe to be tested and connect it to the detector.
- Power onClip the detector to the 12 V battery and turn on the power switch.
- Find the leakIn about 30 seconds the pipe fills with smoke; check for leak points, using a headlamp if needed.
Before use, gently turn the knob to open the airflow regulator valve.
Good to Know
Caution
- Power it only from a 12 V battery; too much current will damage the machine.
- Fill with 10–15 ml of oil and never more than 15 ml at a time, or there is not enough space inside to produce smoke.
- Do not run the detector for more than 8 minutes continuously; let it rest between runs.
- The round part of the detector gets hot; take care to avoid burns.
- Keep the smoke away from smoke-sensitive parts during testing.
Care
- Liquid paraffin and baby oil both work as test fluid.
- Add fresh oil only when the smoke gets thin, pour out the old oil first, and replace the oil regularly.
- If the protector cuts power after overheating, wait and operate it later.
