Service R134a and R1234yf Vehicles From Separate Circuits
The LM708 keeps R134a and HFO-1234yf in independent circuits and tanks, runs recovery, evacuation, a pressure/vacuum-hold check and recharge in sequence, and prints the job record. It does not identify refrigerant, so confirm the gas before connecting.
- Independent Dual Circuits
- 5 Electronic Scales
- 7-Inch Touchscreen
- LP / HP / HP+LP Charging
- Built-In Printer
Key Features
-
Independent Dual-Refrigerant Systems
Separate R134a and HFO-1234yf circuits and onboard tanks reduce tank changes and the risk of cross-contamination.
-
Automatic Configured Workflow
After the parameters are preset, the station runs recovery, evacuation, the hold check and recharge in order with touchscreen prompts.
-
Separate Fluid Weighing
Individual scales weigh the R134a tank, HFO-1234yf tank, PAG oil, POE oil and used oil.
-
Vehicle Database or Custom Data
Start setup from the built-in vehicle data or enter custom values, then verify them against the vehicle label and current OEM information.
-
Protected New-Oil Storage
The oil-bottle design limits new oil’s exposure to air and moisture, with separate PAG, POE and used-oil positions.
-
Recovered-Refrigerant Cleaning
A filter and separator clean recovered refrigerant for reuse when its condition, the procedure and local rules allow.
-
Printed Service Records
Print maintenance data and operation records for the job file.

How to Use
- Identify refrigerant and requirementsConfirm R134a or HFO-1234yf, the exact charge, PAG/POE oil and any hybrid/EV procedure from reliable sources.
- Select the matching circuitUse only the dedicated refrigerant path, tank and couplers for the confirmed gas.
- Inspect and enter the jobCheck tank protection, hoses, scales, oil and power; enter values from the database or manually and verify each one.
- Recover, evacuate and holdFollow the touchscreen prompts and stop for any failed check or contamination concern.
- Add oil and chargeUse only an approved charge path and measured refrigerant and oil amounts.
- Print, verify and disconnectReview pressures and cooling performance, print the record and disconnect safely.

Good to Know
Caution
- Never cross-connect refrigerants; use only the circuit that matches the identified vehicle refrigerant.
- Do not disable overfill protection. Overfilling the tank may cause an explosion; keep it on its load platform and use only manufacturer-approved tanks.
- Liquid refrigerant can cause frostbite and eye injury; wear safety glasses and gloves and ventilate the area.
- For hybrid and EV work, follow the exact OEM oil chemistry and high-voltage procedure.
- Use grounded power matching the regional nameplate, and disconnect power before disassembly or maintenance.
Care
- After replacing the filter-drier, reset it on the device page; if no prompt appears, the manual’s reset password is 8609.
- A failed hold check calls for connection checks and an approved leak-location method.
- Do not store gasoline or other flammable substances near the equipment.
