Bring a Hard-to-Reach OBD2 Port Within Reach
This bendable 16-pin male-to-female extension holds the shape you set, so the scanner or dongle connection sits beside the driver’s seat instead of under the dashboard. It is passive: it routes the existing connection and does not convert protocols.

- Gooseneck Flat Cable
- Passive, No Protocol Conversion

Hauptmerkmale
-
Holds Its Position
Bend and set the cable body in advance, then connect the scan tool without repeatedly reaching under the dashboard.
-
Double-Row OBD-16 Connectors
The male and female connectors follow the OBD-16 double-row structure of standard OBD2 diagnostic ports.
-
Reinforced Copper Core
A thickened copper wire core with metal reinforcement adds durability and pull resistance compared with basic extension wires.
-
Nylon Flat Cable
The flat nylon cable is tough, soft to the touch and bends to different angles.
-
Passive Signal Path
Available functions still depend on the vehicle, pinout, connected hardware, software and protocol support.
What’s in the Box
- 1×OBD2 16-pin male-to-female gooseneck extension cable
Diagnostic scanner, software and licenses are not included.
Anwendung
- Check the vehicle portIdentify the vehicle connector and pinout and inspect the port for damage.
- Check the tool chainConfirm scanner, software, protocol and any authorization separately from the cable.
- VerbindenPlug the male connector into the vehicle’s OBD2 socket, align connectors correctly and never force a mismatched plug.
- Route without strainPosition the cable away from pedals, sharp edges, heat, moving parts and pinched trim.
- Verify communicationRun a read-only connection check first; if communication changes, compare with a direct connection.
Good to Know
Caution
- Keep the cable and connected device clear of the brake, accelerator, clutch, steering, seat tracks and doors.
- Do not attach unknown or high-current devices to vehicle diagnostic power; follow the vehicle and tool current limits.
- If a tool drops the connection, overheats, resets or changes vehicle behavior, stop and return to a direct connection.
Care
- Avoid immersion, sharp edges and direct contact with hot vehicle parts.
- Oversized dongles or some trim designs may need extra clearance around the port.
