Back-Probe Vehicle Circuits Without Cutting Wires
Back probes, terminal jumper leads, clips and banana adapters extend a compatible multimeter, current meter or oscilloscope into fitted vehicle connectors for sensor, actuator and wiring checks. The kit does not add a CAT or high-voltage rating to your meter.
- 48-Piece Set
- 23 cm Back-Probe Leads
- 105 cm Banana Extensions
- Meter + Scope Use
- EVA Storage Case
Hauptmerkmale
-
Back-Probe Access
Probe at the rear of compatible fitted connectors, avoiding wire cuts that can introduce damage, corrosion or added impedance.
-
No Wire Cutting
For current or continuity checks, connect the circuit through the leads without cutting, stripping or removing the original wire.
-
Multiple Terminal Sizes
Color-coded jumper groups with male and female terminals match different automotive connectors.
-
Clips and Banana Adapters
Red and black alligator clips give clip-on connections; yellow and black banana plug adapters link meters and leads flexibly.
-
Potentiometer and LED Test Leads
The red, blue and black potentiometer lead suits sensor, actuator and variable-resistance circuits; the LED lead adds a quick circuit check.
-
Organized Carrying Case
The EVA case protects the leads and keeps them sorted for workshop and field use.

Anwendung
- Choose the adapterMatch connector, terminal size and probe style to the test point without forcing or spreading the vehicle terminal.
- Check the ratingsConfirm the circuit is within the lowest input and CAT limit of the complete meter-lead-probe path.
- Inspect the leadDo not use a lead with damaged insulation, loose metal, contamination or a bent connector.
- Connect in a safe stateDe-energize or set the circuit as the vehicle procedure requires before changing adapters; keep fingers behind the guards.
- Measure and restoreTake the measurement, remove the adapters and check that the terminal and seal are undamaged.
Good to Know
Caution
- The lowest rating of the meter, input terminal, fuse, lead, probe and adapter limits the whole measurement path.
- Never force a probe into a connector; a spread or scratched terminal can create a new intermittent fault.
