Anwendung
- Check the machineConfirm the cleaner is an HTS558, HTS518, HTS559 or HTS678 and that its instructions call for 0.6–1.2 mm walnut media.
- Plan the quantityDetermine the required fill from the machine instructions and prepare 2–4 kg to start the device.
- Inspect the mediaUse dry, free-flowing material and reject wet, clumped or contaminated abrasive.
- Load and operateLoad as the machine manual directs and follow the vehicle-specific blasting and recovery procedure.
- Handle recovered mediaReuse only when the machine instructions and vehicle procedure permit it and the media remains dry and clean.
Good to Know
Caution
- Not for the HTS728, which needs a different media size, or for the HTS705 and HTS708 dry-ice blasters; do not assume compatibility with unlisted machines.
- A compatible blaster, compressed-air setup and adapters are required and sold separately.
- Walnut-shell dust may trigger allergies; use eye and respiratory protection, ventilation and the supplier SDS.
Care
- Keep the media dry and uncontaminated to avoid clumping and unstable feed.
- Use fresh media when the vehicle procedure requires new abrasive, even if recovered media is available.
