Superheat and Subcooling From Live Pressure and Pipe Temperature
The LM70 reads high- and low-side pressure together with two wired pipe clamps and calculates superheat and subcooling for the refrigerant you select. It does not identify refrigerant or locate leaks.
- Dual-Channel Pressure
- 2 Pipe-Temperature Clamps
- 16 Refrigerant Profiles
- SH / SC Calculation
- Vacuum & Hold Modes
Hauptmerkmale
-
Dual-Channel Pressure
Reads high- and low-side pressure together, reducing repeated port switching during diagnosis and charging.
-
Two Pipe-Temperature Inputs
The wired clamps provide simultaneous line temperatures.
-
Automatic Superheat and Subcooling
Calculated from the selected refrigerant, both pressure readings and stable pipe-temperature inputs.
-
Pressure-Retention Test
Shows test time, start pressure, current pressure and pressure difference to assess system sealing.
-
Real-Time Vacuum Monitoring
Displays the live vacuum level, measurement time and temperature data during evacuation.
-
Charging Assistance
Digital readings, the valve set, refrigerant sight window and three-color hoses support refrigerant filling and system debugging.

Anwendung
- Confirm refrigerant and ratingsIdentify the refrigerant, check it is in the profile list and compare system, gauge and hose ratings.
- Inspect and connectCheck hoses, couplers and probes; connect the red and blue service sides and clamp both pipes firmly.
- Select units and refrigerantChoose the exact profile and the pressure, vacuum and temperature units.
- Read or run a testReview both pressure sides and SH/SC, monitor vacuum, or run the timed retention mode.
- Verify and follow upCompare results with the equipment procedure and use separate diagnosis to locate leaks or abnormal operation.

Good to Know
Caution
- The 3000 PSI hose figure is a burst rating, not a working limit. If the system needs more than the hose working rating, use a suitable substitute hose.
- Do not exceed the LM70 pressure range.
- Do not use or store the gauge in high-temperature, high-humidity, flammable, explosive or strong electromagnetic environments, and do not modify its circuitry.
Care
- Poor clamp contact can invalidate SH/SC results; keep both clamps firmly seated.
- Wear suitable protection and work in a ventilated area.
