Walnut-Blast Intake Valves While the Media Is Vacuumed Back
The HTS558 blasts dry walnut media at intake ports and valve backs while its vacuum recovers and filters the media and carbon residue at the same time. Five intake-adapter types suit different port shapes. It needs an external air compressor and walnut media, neither of which is included.

Hauptmerkmale
-
Simultaneous Blasting and Recovery
Compressed air drives the media through the spray gun while the vacuum collects spent walnut and carbon residue for filtration.
-
Five Intake Adapters
Different profiles fit varied intake-port shapes; match and seal-check the adapter on each engine.
-
Built-In Dust Filter
Manages collected walnut abrasive and carbon residue during recovery.
-
Reusable Media
Suitable media may be reused 5–10 times under normal conditions when the vehicle procedure permits; replace it once it is contaminated, clumped or no longer cleaning well.
-
Compact and Mobile
A compact body on swivel casters moves easily around the service bay.

Good to Know
Caution
- Start blasting only after confirming the target intake valve is fully closed and the adapter seals the port.
- Never start the engine to clear residual media; vacuum and inspect first.
- Not for injectors, throttle valves, cylinders or combustion chambers.
- Walnut dust can be an allergen: use eye and respiratory protection, ventilation and the media’s safety data sheet.
- Confirm the compressor delivers dry, filtered air with enough continuous flow, and that the tank, hose, fittings and duty cycle suit continuous blasting.
Care
- Keep media dry; wet or clumped media reduces recovery and cleaning.
- Clean only when inspection confirms deposits; visible cleaning alone does not prove a fault is fixed.
