Check Power, Ground and Shorts Without a Meter
A power circuit probe for DC vehicle systems on cars, trucks, boats, trailers and motorcycles. Clip it to the battery and the long lead lets you probe from the front of the vehicle to the rear.

Polarity at a Glance
The LED turns red on a positive wire or pin and green on a negative one.

Ground Check
A good ground turns the LED green with a beep; a poor ground leaves it red and silent.

Continuity Testing
Checks switches, relays, diodes, fuses and wiring for an open circuit.

Component Activation
Powers a component in or out of the vehicle, and the LED and buzzer show if it is faulty or draws more current than the tester is rated for.

Short Tracing
Helps follow a wiring fault to the damaged wire and the point where it shorts.

Built-In Breaker
If current goes above 7A, the internal breaker trips and the buzzer sounds to protect the tester.

Auxiliary Ground Lead
The black clip and auxiliary ground lead pass straight through the unit, so they can serve as a long jumper lead when the other clip is left off the battery.
