Find Intake, Vacuum, Exhaust and EVAP Leaks by Following the Smoke
Many check engine codes come from air or vacuum leaks that are hard to see. This 12V smoke leak detector fills the system with visible smoke so leaks show themselves. It comes in three versions: F603, F703 and F803, and the systems you can test depend on the version.
- Built-In Air Pump
- F603 / F703 / F803
- 12V Vehicle Power
- Temperature Protection
Hauptmerkmale
-
No Extra Equipment Needed
The built-in air pump and smoke generator work without a separate air supply. Accessories include an intake adapter, a cone adapter and a funnel.
-
Pressure Gauge and Flow Meter
On versions that have them, the flow meter controls air pressure to protect the pipes and the pressure gauge shows system condition, so you can confirm a leak before locating it with smoke.
-
Multi-System Testing
All versions test exhaust, fuel tank, intake and pipe systems. The F803 adds car sealing, crankcase, turbo and EVAP system tests.
-
Stable Smoke
The smoke generator produces stable, non-toxic smoke that does not damage the EVAP system or drain the battery.
-
Compact and Portable
A small unit that is easy to carry between vehicles.

Anwendung
- Prepare the engineShut down the engine, remove the intake air filter and clean the inner wall of the test interface.
- Connect the machineFit the hook, smoke outlet pipe and power cord, connect the cord to the 12V vehicle power supply and install the cone adapter on the test interface.
- Add oil and pressurizePour 15-20ml of smoke oil into the unit, press the air control switch and wait 30 seconds for the system to pressurize, then check the pressure gauge reading.
- Start the smokePress the smoke control switch and reinsert the smoke nozzle into the cone adapter when smoke is visible.
- Look for leaksAfter about 30 seconds the pipe fills with smoke; check for escaping smoke within 2 minutes, using a bright flashlight if needed.

Good to Know
Care
- Refill smoke oil with a needle-tip bottle or a funnel. If overfilled, turn the unit upside down to drain some oil.
- Every three months, drain all the old oil and refill with new oil.
