Find Vacuum, EVAP and Exhaust Leaks With Smoke and a Pressure Gauge
The T100 heats test oil into smoke and pushes it into the line under test with its built-in air pump, so no separate air supply is needed. The pressure gauge shows how much pressure the line holds, which helps judge the size of a leak.
- Built-In Air Pump
- Smoke Within 10 Seconds
- Pressure Gauge
- Overheat Shutoff
- Hang-Up Hook
Hauptmerkmale
-
No External Air Supply
The built-in air pump lets you complete tests at any location without connecting other air equipment.
-
Fast Smoke Output
Smoke starts within 10 seconds of switch-on, and the line under test fills in about 30 seconds.
-
Read the Leak on the Gauge
Watch the pressure change to judge whether a line has no leak, a small leak or a severe leak.
-
Multiple System Tests
Tightness, intake, exhaust, cooling and EVAP system tests, with an assortment of adapters for different pipe systems.
-
Overheat and Anti-Frost Protection
A smart protector cuts power automatically if the unit exceeds its working limit, such as above 75°C.
-
Practical Details
A hook for hanging the unit during testing, an anti-scald oil filler knob, a work indicator, and an outlet to drain and recycle leftover oil.
Highlights

Judge the Leak
Gauge readings next to smoke for no leak, a small leak and a severe leak.

Where to Look
Crankcase, oil seals, intercooler, throttle valve, intake manifold, exhaust, fuel tank, pipe fittings and coolant tank.

Schutz
Power cuts off above 75°C, and the unit can work normally at -20°C.

Anwendung
- Add test oilBefore first use, fill 10–15 ml of baby oil or liquid paraffin through the filler.
- Hang the unitOpen the engine cover and hang the detector from it by the hook.
- Open the valveGently turn the knob to open the airflow regulator valve.
- Connect the pipeDisconnect the pipe to be tested and connect it to the detector.
- Power onConnect the detector to the 12V battery and turn on the power switch.
- Find the leakAfter about 30 seconds the pipe fills with smoke; check for leak points, using a headlamp if needed.
Good to Know
Caution
- Connect only to a 12V battery; too much current will damage the machine.
- Do not add more than 15 ml of oil at a time, or there will not be enough space inside to produce smoke.
- Do not run the detector for more than 8 minutes continuously; let it rest between runs. If the protector shuts it off, operate it again later.
- The round part of the unit gets hot; take care to avoid burns.
- Keep smoke away from smoke-sensitive parts during testing.
Care
- Add fresh oil only when the smoke gets thin.
- Pour out the old oil before refilling, and replace the oil regularly.
