Check Coolant Boiling Point Against the Right Reference
The AS509 heats a 50 ml coolant sample and shows its boiling point on an OLED screen, either as a general reading or against built-in references for 23 coolant brands. It is powered from a 12 V vehicle battery through clamps.
- 23 Brand Reference Modes
- 20–40 s Test
- ±3% Temperature Accuracy
- 12 V Battery Powered
Hauptmerkmale
-
Normal and Brand Modes
Normal Mode measures the actual boiling point for everyday checks across vehicles and coolant types; Brand Mode compares the result with built-in brand reference values.
-
23 Coolant Brands
ACDELCO, BASF, BOSCH, CASTROL, ENGINE_ICE, EVANS, FORD, HONDA, JOHN_DEERE, KUNLUN, MOBIL, MOPAR, NISSAN, OMTECH, PEAK, PRESTONE, RECOCHEM, SHELL, SKI-DOO, ZEREX, STAR_BRITE, TOTAL and TOYOTA.
-
Three Coolant Types
Tests ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and water-based coolant.
-
Readable OLED Screen
The self-illuminating display stays clear in bright light, dim workshops or at night.
-
Dual Safety Protection
Reverse polarity and overheat protection reduce connection mistakes and overheating risk.

Good to Know
Care
- An open-sample boiling point is not the protection temperature of a pressurized cooling system, and the AS509 does not report freeze point, pH or inhibitor reserve.
- Confirm the coolant identity before comparing with a brand reference.
