Guided Refrigerant Service From One Digital Manifold
The LM160 reads live gauge pressure and pipe temperature, monitors vacuum and records timed pressure-retention results through guided menus. You select the refrigerant from its built-in list; the gauge does not identify refrigerant or locate leaks.
- 95 Refrigerant Profiles
- 0–60 bar Gauge Pressure
- 8 Interface Languages
- 2 Wired Temperature Clamps
Hauptmerkmale
-
Program-Controlled Workflow
Choose the test mode and review results through guided menus, keeping setup and readings in one interface.
-
Live Pressure and Temperature
Real-time system pressure and temperature with the wired clamps seated on the lines, for comparison against the known refrigerant and operating condition.
-
Vacuum Monitoring
Follow pressure and elapsed time during an evacuation, then compare the achieved level and stability with the service specification.
-
Timed Pressure Retention
Tracks starting pressure, current pressure and ΔP to assess system tightness.
-
Switchable Units and Languages
Pressure in psi, kPa, MPa, bar or kg/cm²; vacuum in Micron, hPa, mbar, mTorr or Torr; °C or °F. Interface in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese.
-
Flow Control on the Gauge
High- and low-pressure valves and a refrigerant sight window, plus a foldable hook and two side handles for hanging and carrying in the bay.
What’s in the Box

Anwendung
- Confirm the refrigerantIdentify the refrigerant independently and check that it appears in the database.
- Check ratings and connectionsCompare hoses, couplers, valves and the system rating with the LM160 range and the hose working pressure.
- Set language, units and modeSelect refrigeration, vacuum or pressure-retention mode.
- Connect and readAttach the high and low hoses, seat the clamps when temperature data is needed and follow the display.
- Verify and diagnoseReview final values against the equipment procedure and use separate tests for leak location or other A/C faults.

Good to Know
Caution
- Normal coverage is up to 6 MPa / 60 bar and about -101 kPa vacuum. The 10 MPa overload limit and 3000 PSI hose burst rating are not working targets.
- The standard hoses are rated 600 PSI (about 41.3 bar) working pressure; use a suitably rated hose where the test requires more.
- Do not use or store the gauge in hot, humid, flammable, explosive or strong electromagnetic environments, and do not modify the internal circuitry.
Care
- Wear approved protective equipment and work in a well-ventilated area.
FAQ
Is the LM160 a refrigerant leak detector?
No. Pressure-retention mode shows whether pressure changes; use a refrigerant detector or another approved method to find the leak.
Does it identify the refrigerant?
No. Select only a refrigerant already identified from reliable system information.
Should I choose the LM160 for superheat and subcooling?
Confirm that function for the selected LM160 package before ordering; the LM70 is the model listed with SH/SC support.
What does program control change?
It guides mode selection and result display. The technician still selects the refrigerant, verifies connections and ratings, and applies the service criteria.
