Leak-Check the Cooling System, Then Vacuum-Fill Coolant

The AUTOOL SC301 runs a vacuum-hold leak check and vacuum-assisted coolant filling from one panel. It runs on 12 V DC from the vehicle battery and needs an external air compressor, which is not included.

  • Leak Test + Vacuum Fill
  • -35 / -40 / -45 kPa
  • 60 s Hold Check
  • 3 Conical Adapters
  • 12 V DC

Key Features

  1. Two Service Modes

Tester Mode draws a vacuum and monitors it through the hold period; Filler Mode removes residual air and refills coolant.

  2. Automatic Coolant Filling

Once vacuuming is complete in Filler Mode, the machine starts adding coolant on its own; repeat cycles if filling is not complete.

  3. Red/Green Hold Result

After vacuuming, the unit holds for 60 seconds and shows green for no leak detected or red for a leak.

  4. Three Vacuum Levels

Select a level to suit the vehicle and the condition of the cooling system.

  5. Clear Control Panel

Separate Filler and Tester sections, each with a digital display, indicators and start/stop buttons; only the active mode’s setting stays displayed.

  6. One-Person Operation

The automated sequence reduces manual effort for coolant replacement and leak inspection, with no need to start the engine.

What’s in the Box

  • SC301 cooling system tester and filler
  • DC 12 V battery-clamp power cable
  • Three coolant reservoir adapters
  • Filling and air-connection hoses
  • User manual

Coolant and the air compressor are not included.

How to Use

  1. Cool and identify the systemLet the cooling system cool, identify the specified coolant and choose test or fill mode.
  2. Select and seal the adapterChoose the adapter that matches the reservoir or radiator opening and check every hose connection.
  3. Connect power and airConnect 12 V DC and the compressed-air supply, open the drain valve (parallel to the air hose) and confirm the settings.
  4. Run testing or fillingStart the selected mode and watch the readings, indicators and coolant flow.
  5. Restore and verifyDisconnect the machine, complete the vehicle bleed procedure and check the final level and leak status.
  6. Purge after useDrain residual coolant into a container, close the drain valve and run Tester Mode to clean the internal lines until no liquid comes out.

Good to Know

Caution
  • 12 V DC only. Connecting 24 V, 110 V, 220 V or 380 V may damage the unit.
  • An external air compressor (around 0.7 MPa or higher recommended) and coolant are required and not included.
  • Open the radiator cap or reservoir only after the system has cooled down.
  • Use a lower vacuum level on older vehicles or aging cooling-system parts.
  • Do not mix coolants with different specifications, and do not add undiluted coolant in low temperatures.
Care
  • Recheck the adapter and hose seals before blaming a failed hold on the vehicle.
  • Work in a ventilated area and inspect the machine before use; stop if damage is found.
  • Check fittings and wiring regularly, keep it away from corrosive liquids and store it dry.

FAQ

What if the selected vacuum level cannot be reached?

Within two minutes the SC301 switches to its hold mode and shows a fault reminder. Check the connections, adapter seal, hoses and possible leak points, then test again.

What if coolant does not enter during filling?

A fault reminder appears after two minutes. Check that the inlet hose is in the coolant container, the adapter is sealed, the drain valve is set correctly and the compressor is connected.

Which adapter sizes are supplied?

Three conical adapters marked about 33, 41 and 52 mm. They fit many common reservoir openings; confirm fitment for special vehicles.
