How to Use
- Find the portThe 16-pin diagnostic port is usually under the dash on the driver’s side, about 12 inches from the center of the instrument panel; check the service manual if it is elsewhere.
- Plug in the connectorSeat the connector firmly in the port.
- Turn the ignition onSwitch the ignition on, then start diagnosis from the 689BT tablet.

Caution
- Made for the 689BT. The wired THINKSCAN 689 connects through a diagnostic cable instead of this Bluetooth connector.
Care
- No response from the vehicle: check the connector seating, confirm the ignition is on, and confirm the car is supported.
- Data stream stops mid-read: turn the tool off, reseat the connector firmly, and turn it back on.
