Swing-Arm Tire Changer for Standard and Low-Profile Tires
The TCA403 is a swing-arm tire changer without an auxiliary arm. Protective jaw sleeves and an anti-scratch mounting head limit contact with the rim, and a digital gauge shows pressure during inflation. It needs an 8–10 bar shop-air supply.
- 12–24 in Rims
- 4–13 in Tire Width
- 1100 mm Max Tire
- 6.8 rpm Turntable
- ≤70 dB
Key Features
-
Digital Inflation Gauge
Read tire pressure on the machine-side gauge while seating and inflating the tire.
-
Composite Housing
The reinforced housing adds strength and reduces vibration of the working head.
-
Pull-Out Foot Valve Assembly
The pedal valve block slides out for easier maintenance and servicing.
-
Protected Alloy Steel Jaws
Jaws with quenched tips and protective sleeves hold the rim firmly while protecting its surface.
-
Stainless Steel Mounting Head
Fitted with anti-scratch washers to reduce rim damage when demounting and mounting.
-
Large Bidirectional Cylinder
A large cylinder with dual exhaust gives fast return movements and stronger bead breaking.
-
Bead Clamps Included
Comes standard with tire bead clamps.
How to Use
- Confirm the wheelCheck rim diameter and width, tire outside diameter, profile, condition and wheel weight against the machine range.
- Deflate fullyRemove the valve core and confirm zero pressure before bead breaking or demounting.
- Break the beadLubricate the bead, keep the bead-breaker shoe clear of the rim and keep hands outside the moving zone.
- Center and clampCenter the rim on the turntable and confirm all jaws engage evenly.
- Set arm and headPosition the swing arm and mounting head with the required rim clearance, protectors and tire lubricant.
- Demount or mountKeep the bead in the drop center while the turntable rotates.
- Seat and inflateFollow the tire and rim inflation procedure, stay out of the trajectory zone and never exceed the seating or service pressure.
- Inspect the assemblyCheck bead seating, valve, rim contact and tire condition before removing the wheel.
Good to Know
Caution
- The 8–10 bar figure is the machine air-supply requirement, not a bead-seating or tire pressure.
- Match the 220 V or 380 V power supply and motor to your order and workshop before installation.
- Keep hands and body clear of the bead breaker, jaws, turntable and mounting head whenever controls are operated.
Care
- Use approved lubricant, jaw and head protectors, and the vehicle procedure for wheels fitted with TPMS sensors.
