Grip a Small Board Component and Read L, C or R Directly
The AUTOOL DM103 is an LCR tweezer for SMD parts and dense circuit boards, including automotive ECU boards. It recognizes resistors, capacitors and inductors automatically and shows secondary parameters at a selectable test frequency and level. It is not for live circuits.
- Auto L / C / R Recognition
- 6 Test Modes
- 100 Hz / 1 kHz / 10 kHz
- ±0.5% Basic Accuracy
- Up to 12 h Runtime
Key Features
-
Automatic Component Recognition
Auto mode identifies resistors, capacitors and inductors without manual switching; inductance, capacitance, resistance, diode and continuity modes are also available.
-
Primary and Secondary Analysis
Read D and Q alongside L, C and R values to compare component behavior during ECU board troubleshooting. D indicates loss at the selected conditions; compare it with the part specification at the same frequency and level.
-
Fine Gold-Plated Tips
Reliable contact on small SMD components and high-density boards, reaching tight spaces without changing tools.
-
Self-Illuminating OLED Screen
High brightness for clear reading in bright or dim work areas.
-
Rechargeable, Updatable
The built-in lithium battery charges over Type-C, and the same port connects to a computer for online software upgrades.

Good to Know
Caution
- Do not apply voltage during measurement. The DM103 is not designed for live circuits; measuring one can damage the device.
Care
- In-circuit readings can be affected by parallel paths, stored charge and nearby components; isolate or confirm the part when a repair decision depends on it.
- Keep the tweezer away from humidity, flammable gases or vapors, high heat, dust and direct sunlight.
