Two-Wheel Brake Fluid Exchange on Battery Power
The AUTOOL AST612 runs from the vehicle’s 12 V battery, delivers fresh brake fluid with pulsating pressure and collects used fluid from two wheel positions at once, so one person can do the job without mains power.
- 2 Wheels at Once
- 12 V DC
- 2.6 L/min
- 9 Adapter Types
- Auto Pressure Release
Key Features
-
Pulsating Fluid Exchange
Pulsating pressure feeds the reservoir while used fluid drains from each caliper until new fluid appears, reducing the risk of bubbles compared with basic pressure filling.
-
Single-Person Operation
No helper is needed to pump the brake pedal, and the engine does not need to run.
-
Two Wheels Simultaneously
Two 1.5 L recovery bottles let you service two wheel positions in one pass.
-
Automatic Pressure Release
When the exchange is complete, pressure is released automatically in about 30 seconds to reduce splashing.
-
Air-Ingress Protection
If pressure cannot build or the pump draws air, the pressure monitor shuts the unit down to keep air out of the reservoir.
-
Compact, Organized Body
Top carry handle, side hose hook and rear bottle base; the front panel groups the pressure gauge, indicators and buttons.

Good to Know
Caution
- The regulator is factory set to 1–1.5 bar to protect the storage chamber and seal. Avoid excessive pressure, which may damage the brake master cylinder.
- Air left in the machine’s line can interrupt the exchange; prime it before first use.
- Check the reservoir adapter, cap and hoses for leaks before building pressure.
Care
- Brake fluid can damage paint; clean spills immediately.
- Keep the fresh-fluid filler port clean and inspect the hoses for damage before each job.
