Read Engine Oil Pressure at the Sensor Port and Track Its Range
Fit the PT620 in place of the oil pressure sensor and compare the reading with the vehicle’s service specification. It shows current, maximum, minimum and differential pressure with measuring time; it is for engine oil only, not cylinder, fuel, transmission or brake pressure.
- Current / Max / Min / Differential
- 0.5% FS Accuracy
- 18 Adapter Types
- PSI / Bar / kg/cm²
- 2.8-Inch Backlit Display
Key Features
-
Multi-Value Readout
Current pressure, current maximum and minimum, differential pressure and measurement time on one screen.
-
Lock, Clear and Zero
Hold the current screen with the lock key, clear test data, and zero the pressure value before each test.
-
Unit Switching
Switch between PSI, bar and kg/cm² to match the vehicle information you are working from.
-
Connections for Tight Spaces
Riveted copper threaded adapters, a right-angle quick connector and an oil-resistant hose reach awkward sensor ports.
-
Battery Powered
Runs on AAA batteries and switches off automatically when idle with no pressure applied.

How to Use
- Remove the sensorTake out the engine oil pressure sensor following the vehicle service procedure.
- Fit the adapterChoose the adapter that matches the port thread and sealing method, and connect it to the probe.
- Power on and zeroLong-press the power key for more than 2 seconds, then zero the pressure value.
- Connect to the engineSecure the probe to the oil pressure test point and check the hose and fittings.
- Start and readStart the engine only once connected, then compare pressure at the specified temperature and engine speed with the vehicle specification.

Good to Know
Caution
- Do not exceed the rated range or the overload pressure.
- Never force an adapter into an incompatible port; tighten any loose fitting before starting the engine.
- Shut the gauge down under atmospheric pressure after measurement.
Care
- Clean parts that contacted chemical media after use, and avoid corrosive liquids.
- Store dry, away from heat, humidity and poorly ventilated places, and protect the housing from rough surfaces.
FAQ
Does PT620 save multiple sets of test data?
No. It supports data lock, interface lock, data clearing and zeroing, but is not a multi-set storage model.
Which tester do I need for fuel, GDI, transmission or brake pressure?
PT630 or PT635 for fuel pressure, PT640 for GDI, PT650 for transmission oil pressure and PT660 for brake system fluid pressure.
