Walnut Blasting With Simultaneous Recovery and HEPA Filtration
The HTS728 blasts fine walnut-shell media with compressed air while recovering media and carbon residue through HEPA and dust filtration. It cleans intake ports and valves, and the combustion chamber through the spark-plug hole where the vehicle service procedure supports it. An external compressor is required and not included.

Key Features
-
Integrated Recovery and Filtration
The machine sprays and recovers at the same time; a filter cartridge and screen separate carbon from walnut media so suitable media can be reused.
-
Recovery and Filling Modes
Dedicated switches for recovery and media filling, with power and filling indicator lights on the control panel.
-
Dual-Mode Nozzle Handle
Switch between blasting mode for carbon removal and air-only mode for clearing residual media and deposits.
-
Pressure Control
A pressure gauge and regulating knob let you monitor and set blasting pressure per the manual.
-
Intake, Valve and Combustion-Chamber Cleaning
Work port by port across intake manifolds and intake valves; combustion-chamber, exhaust-valve or other extended-area cleaning only where the vehicle procedure supports it.
-
Workshop Mobility
Handle and 360° swivel casters move the unit between bays.
Highlights

Control Panel
Mode switches, indicator lights, pressure knob and gauge in one row.

Nozzle Handle
Blasting and air-only buttons on the handle.

Filtration and Reuse
Built-in filter cartridge and screen separate carbon from recovered media.

Before and After
Results depend on the engine and the cleaning area its service procedure supports.

Walnut media inclusion and quantity depend on the selected package option.
How to Use
- Set up the machineConnect the recovery hose and elbow, the blasting tube or nozzle, the external air supply and AC power.
- Load walnut mediaSet Recovery off and Filling on, add compatible media within the load limit, then switch Filling off and build pressure.
- Prepare the vehicleRemove spark plugs or the intake manifold as the procedure requires, close the target valves and seal the other ports.
- Clean intake portsMake a sealed recovery connection, switch Recovery on, set nozzle depth and pressure, and clean each port in sequence.
- Clean the combustion chamberOnly where supported: work through the spark-plug hole with valves closed and recover media throughout.
- Clear residueStop media and air, complete final vacuum recovery and inspect with good lighting or a borescope.
- Reassemble and checkRefit parts, then complete leak checks, diagnostic scanning and idle checks.

Good to Know
Caution
- Requires an external compressor supplying dry, filtered air; check that the tank, hose, fittings and duty cycle support the required airflow.
- Never blast with the target valve open, and do not clean an area just because the nozzle can reach it.
- The adapters and nozzles fit multiple port shapes but are not universal; confirm fit and seal on each engine.
- Remove all visible residual media before starting the engine rather than relying on it to burn away.
- Walnut-shell dust may trigger allergies; wear goggles and respiratory protection, ventilate the area and follow the media supplier’s SDS.
Care
- Keep media dry and replace it if it becomes contaminated or clumped or cleaning performance drops.
- Decide when to clean through inspection and diagnosis, not a fixed mileage interval.
